Richard Sherman will not be coming to New England.
According to multiple reports, Sherman has agreed to a three-year deal with the 49ers after he was released by the Seahawks on Friday.
The Boston Herald's Jeff Howe adds the Patriots never reached out to him. From our perspective, if he was seeking a three-year deal, the Patriots likely were never going to go that far.
Sherman said he wanted to play with a good quarterback, which he will in Jimmy Garoppolo, and also get to face his former team twice a year.
