Here we go again.
After sending out multiple cryptic tweets over the last few days, Rob Gronkowski is at it again.
Here's the tweet he sent out Wednesday afternoon. It reads: #clueless with a confused emoji.
This comes following NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, saying earlier in the day the expectation is Gronkowski will return to New England despite pondering retirement in recent weeks.
"As far as I have been told (the Patriots) have not been informed anything official, and they may not be. Gronkowski has been pretty low-key about things personally and how he handles his career," he said Wednesday on NFL Network. "I would expect that to continue. ... What I am told though, is he took several weeks off to let loose and put football in the back of his mind and really set himself free after football.
"He did ponder retirement. He did discuss possibly moving to another venue, WWE for one, an acting career would be another, but the belief now is those things will come after his football career. The belief now is that Gronkowski will continue his football career with the Patriots. I know it was a difficult year physically for him, certainly he's been through a lot.
"Right now I have not talked to one person who believes Rob Gronkowski will retire. The expectation is he is back in a Patriots uniform in 2018."
It's unclear exactly what Gronkowski is referring to, but everyone will be quick to assume.
