No one really knows what Rob Gronkowski is going to do next season, even his agent Drew Rosenhaus.
So, how are the Patriots operating?
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the organization is tentatively planning on having Gronkowski in 2019, and people close to the tight end believe he wants to play.
Gronkowski is in the final year of his deal and is due to be paid a base salary of $9 million. The tight end battled injuries all year long in 2018, and wasn't close to himself until the postseason when he was near his All-Pro level.
In discussing the TE market, I passed my along what I know on #Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski: His agent says he has not made a firm decision, but the team is tentatively planning as if he'll be there in 2019 and some people close to him believe he wants to play. pic.twitter.com/YRyC36Xaoi
