Appearing on WBZ-TV prior to Saturday's divisional round game against the Titans, Patriots owner Robert Kraft was asked a general question about Tom Brady's leadership, but within Kraft's answer he seemed to respond to the reported tension between Kraft, Brady and Bill Belichick this season.

Kraft said there's always tension in successful organizations over the years, and there is nothing out of the ordinary this year.

"Well, to be honest, what people don't understand is we've been together as a unit for 18 years," Kraft said. "Think of your channel, our fans should think of their own businesses. When you have something good going, there's always tension. If you have good people, there's a lot of dynamic things going on. There is nothing that much out of the ordinary. He is focusing on doing what he does best and so is everyone else.

"With all due respect to our friends in the media, the guys in the locker room really don't pay much attention to it. Thank goodness."

Earlier on Saturday, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported the trio plans on meeting after the season to sort out the tension from this season.
