There should be a few Patriots roster moves on Tuesday.

According to a source, the Patriots are expected to sign former Ravens linebacker Albert McClellan. The news first was reported by Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

The 32-year-old was released by the Ravens last week to make room for Ty Montgomery. In six games this season he has three tackles, but he makes his biggest impact on special teams. This likely is where the Patriots see him contributing most. It has been a well below average year for the unit, as it ranks second-to-last when it comes to opponents starting field position. The Patriots will need to open two roster spots on the active roster -- one for McClellan and the other for Obi Melifonwu, who said on Twitter he is joining the team.
