FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots will have a new kicker on Sunday.
According to Jim McBride of The Boston Globe, Stephen Gostkowski has been placed on injured reserve.
Gostkowski can still return this season, but the team already has N'Keal Harry, James Develin and Isaiah Wynn on injured reserve.
The kicker has missed kicks in three straight games and five overall on the year.
The team is currently working out kickers and it's likely the one who works out best will become the new kicker.
[UPDATE 5:00 p.m.]: The team has made it official and according to multiple reports, he's out for the year as he is having hip surgery. This potentially could be the end of the 35-year-olds career.
