Stephen Gostkowski still hasn't been signed with the Patriots and that means he's now getting interest from other teams.
According to Matt Maiocco of NBCSportsBayArea.com, the 49ers are interested in the long-time Patriots kicker. The 49ers have Robbie Gould, but he's yet to sign the franchise tag the team placed on him earlier this offseason. If they land a deal with Gostkowski, they would obviously rescind that offer to Gostkowski.
It's also worth noting this could be a ploy to get Gould to sign.
Gostkowski has been in the league for 13 years and is among the best kickers in the game, although he's missed a number of kicks in the biggest of games the last several seasons.
