FOXBOROUGH -- It's very early in the summer, but the Patriots may be a little banged up.
Stephon Gilmore joined a pretty lengthy list of Patriots to miss practice on Thursday, which was held in full pads. The others were: N’Keal Harry, Adrian Phillips, Sony Michel (PUP), Lamar Miller (PUP), Yodny Cajuste, Beau Allen, Derek Rivers and Tashawn Bower.
Along with Gilmore, Phillips and Cajuste were new absences.
It was the second straight missed day for Harry, which is not a good sign.
On a positive note, Jeff Thomas and Anfernee Jennings were present for the first time in the summer.
Thomas, Jennings and Hastings were limited, as well as Julian Edelman. While he stayed on the field, Edelman clearly is dealing with something after being limited Tuesday. He spent some time with the trainer and rode the stationary bike for a bit. He basically was a spectator for the entire team drills portion of practice.
New England will return to the field Friday before an off-day Saturday.
