Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have one of the most fascinating relationships in sports -- one that has been so successful and lasted as long as it has.
Approaching 19 years together, the reported power struggle between the two along with Robert Kraft has been well-documented, but what exactly does Brady think of Belichick? The quarterback answered that in an interview Sunday with Oprah Winfrey when asked if there's something going on between the two?
"No," Brady said. "I mean, I love him. I love that he is an incredible coach, mentor for me. He's pushed me in a lot of ways. Like everything, we don't agree on absolutely everything, but that's relationships."
Many of the disagreements the two have had of late have been centered around Brady's personal trainer Alex Guerrero. Brady said his routine isn't much different than anyone else's.
"No, I wouldn't say that," Brady said. "I probably do some of my own techniques a little differently than the rest of the team. The team, I would say, like most teams, is very systematic in their approach. What I learned, I guess, is different than some of the things that are systematic, but that work for me. It's nothing that I don't talk about with my coach and owner. It is what I want to do and is what I need to be the best player I can be. Hopefully, you can support that."
Brady and the Patriots will be back on the field in late July for training camp.
