The Patriots are giving Tom Brady a late birthday present.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Patriots are expected to tweak Brady's contract in the next 24 hours. The adjustments will include performance-based incentives for the upcoming season, which the team did last year with Rob Gronkowski.

Schefter later added the incentives are up to $5 million, which would have him make $20 million this year. And even then he's still not making what other quarterbacks in the league are.

Most top quarterbacks are in the $25-30 million range.

At 41 years old, Brady is signed through the end of next season where he's also scheduled to make $15 million.
