While the Patriots are 8-0 to open the year, they haven't exactly been tested all that much, playing just one team with a record above .500.
That will change this Sunday night when they travel to Baltimore to take on the 5-2 Ravens, who are coming off a bye.
Appearing on The Greg Hill Show Monday, Tom Brady acknowledged what a difficult game it will be.
"I think it is going to be a hell of a game," he said. "It's going to be a really great environment. They've got a great history there, especially defensive football. And their ability to run the ball, control the clock, the way Lamar (Jackson) is playing, he's doing a great job for them. We have always had really tough battles there, and any time you go on the road in the NFL — it's hard to win.
"Again, the advantages we have when we're home, you lose those advantages when you go on the road. You've got to amplify the concentration and the communication. They are leading their division. They are off to a great start. They are playing for a lot. We're playing for a lot and it's going to be a hell of a game. It's going to be tough."
Baltimore has the second-best offense in the league, including the best rushing offense, as it is averaging over 200 yards a game. Defensively, it is middle of the pack (16th in points per game), but it likely be the Patriots' toughest test so far this season.
Following the game, the Patriots will have their bye week before taking on the Eagles, also on the road.
