Tom Brady's final pass as a Patriot was not a memorable one.

Brady threw a pick-6 late in the Wild Card loss to the Titans last year when the Patriots were desperate for a last-second field goal. Logan Ryan, Brady's former teammate in New England caught the pass and returned it for a touchdown.

Appearing on NFL Network's Good Morning Football Thursday, Ryan said Brady reached out via Instagram.

"Tom reached out to me after the game on Instagram,” Ryan said via 24/7 Sports. “He DMed me and said, 'Congrats.' He's happy for me. He hated that it had to happen to him. Why couldn't I drop both of (my interception chances)? Why did I have to catch one? We've got a great relationship. It's all love in the game. He's a great competitor and he respects me for my play. But that's just something I had to do to help us win.

"That ball is on a mantle. My kids play with a lot of my interception balls laying around. But that one, they can't touch. That one's on my mantle."

Ryan's Titans beat the Patriots, 20-13.

Both players will be on new teams next season, as Brady obviously is in Tampa Bay, while Ryan is still a free agent, but reportedly has received interest from the Jets.
