Tom Brady reportedly gets 12 stitches removed from throwing hand

Tom Brady is good to go for Super Bowl LII.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Brady had an appointment earlier this week to get the 12 stitches removed from his throwing hand. Of course, Brady suffered the cut in the Wednesday practice leading up to the AFC championship game.

The quarterback played with special tape covering the stitches -- KT Tape -- and led the Patriots to a come-from-behind win over the Jaguars.

Brady has still been wearing a glove on his throwing hand in practice this week, but that changed Saturday when it appeared he was wearing the KT Tape like he wore in the AFC title game. KT Tape can also aide in the recovery process.

New England will practice one final time on Sunday before departing for Minnesota on Monday.
