According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tom Brady still has not committed to play in 2018, even though people who know him believe he will.
The report says there's been no official word -- publicly or privately -- that he will play, which has people close to him believing he will play, but cannot say for sure.
"My money would be on him playing football for the foreseeable future, but what goes on away from the football field, I don't know," a source told ESPN. "I don't know."
"I believe he's going to be there," another source told ESPN. "However, having said that, we're dealing with a human being. Things can change. But I do believe he will be playing."
The report added Brady wants to play, but also wants to spend more time with his family and there are people around him who would rather see him retire.
The Patriots' offseason workout program began this week and Brady wasn't present, although he did spend the weekend in Qatar for a Best Buddies event.
