Tom Brady will miss voluntary offseason workout program, but reportedly could bulk up before returning

Monday is the start of the Patriots' voluntary offseason workout program, and as expected Tom Brady likely will not be in attendance. Brady did not participate in the program last offseason in order to spend more time with his family, but this obviously does not mean he won't be working.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Brady plans on bulking up this offseason and should be bigger when returning to the Gillette Stadium facility.

The 41-year-old is listed on the Patriots' website as being 225 pounds, but has looked slimmer in recent years from the past.

It's unclear exactly what Brady's plans entail, but it shows he's as dedicated as ever entering his 20th season.

Monday marks Phase 1 of the offseason workout program, which is limited to strength and conditioning activities.
