When Tom Brady popped up on the injury report Friday with a right elbow injury, many brushed it off as not that big of a deal, but maybe it is more serious than initially thought.
According to Ian Rapoport speaking on NFL Network Sunday morning, Brady could not finish Friday's practice due to right elbow pain and backup Jarrett Stidham took the majority of the reps. Brady told his teammates afterwards he would be fine, but this certainly is something to watch in the coming days and weeks.
This won't keep Brady from playing Sunday, but it seems likely to impact his throws, especially from a velocity perspective.
Brady could be without wide outs Phillip Dorsett (concussion) and Mohamed Sanu (ankle), as both are questionable.
From @NFLGameDay: #Patriots QB Tom Brady's elbow is worth watching. He's going to play today, but how much of an issue will the maintenance be? pic.twitter.com/FNsg1djbVg
