DETROIT -- It was a special night for Matt Patricia and the Lions.
Not only did they beat the defending AFC champion Patriots for their first win of the year, it was also head coach Matt Patricia's first ever NFL win.
The team was very excited for their coach in the locker room afterwards.

"It was all joy," running back Kerryon Johnson said. "Not only was that his former team, but that's a great team. They've been great for a while, they'll continue to be good in the future. So, to get a win over a prominent team in the NFL, over his former team, you can imagine the scene. It was great."
