While it's just an agility workout and doesn't involve any football activity, it's a promising look for new Patriots wide receiver Demaryius Thomas.

The 31-year-old tore his Achilles in late December, but a video surfaced of the receiver working out on the upper grass field behind Gillette Stadium where he appeared to look pretty good having suffered the injury roughly six months ago.

It remains to be seen if he'll be full-go for training camp, but this is a fairly decent sign.

Thomas will be competing with several others for a roster spot, although if healthy he should have a good chance.

Here's the video.
