What Bill Belichick said in Patriots locker room after win over Cowboys

While it wasn't the prettiest win by any means, Bill Belichick was quite pleased in the Patriots locker room following the 13-9 win over the Cowboys Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots did a great job dealing with the rainy, miserable conditions, which was something Belichick lauded afterwards (courtesy of Patriots.com).

"Congratulations, men," Belichick said. "That is a great job. You want to talk about situational football, all the way. All three phases. Really, hell of a job making plays on offense, defense. Great four-minute drive here at the end. Blocked punt. Defense, no touchdowns. I mean, it is a good team victory. It's what we need. That is what we've been working for. It's who we are -- whatever the conditions are, whatever it takes.

"Congratulations, men. That is the way to grind it out this week, grind it out today. (Took) good care of the football. Damn good win, 10-1."

New England is now 10-1 and will take on the Texans next Sunday night in Houston.
