Sunday was the perfect game for Bill Belichick early in the season.
While the Patriots won, 30-14 over the Jets, there were plenty of mistakes that he can bring up over the course of the week, including a muffed punt and a pick-6 in the fourth quarter.
Courtesy of Patriots.com, here's what Belichick said in the locker room after the game.
"Congratulations, that was a pretty solid day," he said. "We saw there are a lot of things we can do better, but that is a solid win. Now, we go on the road for another big division game. Let's keep stringing them together here, we have a long way to go. A lot we can improve on. We did a lot of things well today. There's a lot of things we can improve on. We'll need our best up here against Buffalo this week."
The Patriots will take on the Bills Sunday in Buffalo in a battle of two 3-0 teams.
