Playoff scenarios for Celtics when it comes to first-round opponent

The Celtics have one seeding game remaining, which means who they will play in the playoffs is coming into focus.

They are already locked into the No. 3 seed, which means they will take on whoever is the No. 6 seed. It seems like it will come down to the Pacers or 76ers. And it comes down to this: if the Pacers lose their final two games and the 76ers win their last two then the Pacers are the No. 6 seed and will take on the Celtics. If anything else happens, the 76ers will be the No. 6 seed.

Indiana takes on the Rockets Wednesday and the Heat Friday, while Philadelphia has the Raptors Wednesday and the Rockets Friday.

Obviously, with all the injuries the 76ers are dealing with they're the ideal opponent for the Celtics.

"I think we're pretty close to being ready, especially after tonight," Kemba Walker said to reporters Tuesday. "We've definitely come a long way, and we're gelling really well. Having fun, competing at a very high level. I think I feel pretty ready."

The Celtics are coming off a 122-107 win over the Grizzlies and seem to be hitting their stride on both ends of the court.
