When will Tom Brady retire?
That is one of the biggest questions being asked this week as in an interview with Oprah Winfrey over the weekend, Brady said he will retire "sooner rather than later." Then, he commented on an ESPN Instagram post about what he said, "Cuarenta y cinco," which is 45 in Spanish.
NFL Media's Willie McGinest, who is also a close friend of Brady, weighed in on an NFL Media podcast Monday with Dave Dameshek and Henry Hodgson.
"I think there will be a walkoff," he said. "If he wins this year, a Super Bowl, I think it won't be 45 years old. I think he will walk off and say, 'The game has been amazing to me and now I am going to figure something else out.'"
McGinest also said there was a chance Brady would have retired if the Patriots had beat the Eagles in Super Bowl LII.
While it's typically not worth reading into comments from former players, McGinest is different given his relationship with Brady.
