Blues' Robert Thomas out for Game 2; Craig Berube says it has nothing to do with Torey Krug hit

The St. Louis Blues will be without rookie wing Robert Thomas for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final due to an undisclosed injury.

Blues coach Craig Berube says Thomas' absence has nothing to do with the huge hit he took from Torey Krug in the third period, which seems a bit fishy considering Thomas left the ice after a five-second shift following the hit and didn't return to the game.

Thomas has a goal and five assists in 20 games this postseason. He's expected to be replaced in the Blues lineup by Robby Fabbri, who has one goal and a minus-3 rating in eight playoff games.

The Blues will also once again be without defenseman Vince Dunn, who took a puck to the face in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
