Canadiens coach Claude Julien will miss the rest of the team's first-round series against the Flyers after experiencing chest pains, Montreal general manager Marc Bergervin announced Thursday afternoon.
Julien was taken to the hospital by ambulance Wednesday night and is undergoing tests Thursday. Bergevin said it is not related to COVID-19.
Assistant coach Kirk Muller will take over head-coaching duties for the remainder of Montreal's first-round series against Philadelphia, which the Flyers currently lead 1-0.
