It's been almost two weeks since the Bruins announced Patrice Bergeron had a fractured right foot and would be re-evaluated in two weeks, but so far there's no real update. Coach Bruce Cassidy said before Saturday's game that Bergeron hasn't started skating yet and isn't expected to play on the Bruins' four-game road trip that begins Sunday.

On the bright side, Cassidy also said he thinks Bergeron is still "on target," and he even left the door open for him to join the team later in the road trip if he does start skating in the next few days.

"I don't anticipate he'd be playing on this trip at all. Don't hold me to that," Cassidy said. "I just take it day-by-day. He's not playing today, he's not playing tomorrow. … He's not skating with his team, he's not skating on his own just yet. He'll have to go through, obviously, that part of it before he even thinks about joining us. I think he's on target, but that's all I know."

In unrelated news, Cassidy said he's making one lineup change for Saturday's matinee game against the Blackhawks, as Nick Holden re-enters the lineup with Adam McQuaid coming out. Tuukka Rask gets the start Saturday, with Anton Khudobin expected to start in Chicago Sunday.

Here is the expected lineup for Saturday:
