Biggest 180s: Patriots overcome 28-3 deficit to win Super Bowl LI

Maybe the Patriots had a shot at a second-half comeback trailing 21-3 at halftime. Maybe. But Super Bowl LI was surely over when the Falcons scored again with 8:31 left in the third quarter and went up 28-3.

Unfortunately for Atlanta, Tom Brady and company had other ideas. The Patriots' offense and defense both came roaring to life, as they scored points on each of their next four drives (including three touchdowns) and held the Falcons off the board on their next four possessions (including forcing a turnover).

A James White touchdown run and two-point conversion from Brady to Danny Amendola tied the game with 57 seconds to go and set up overtime. The Patriots won the coin toss, marched down the field and punched in the game-winning touchdown on a two-yard run from White, capping off the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history and one of the biggest 180s in sports history.
