In Buffalo's first home game on a Monday night in 10 years, everyone knew going in what a great atmosphere it would be, and also what potentially could happen after events in the past.
In 2016 a fan threw a sex toy on the field in a game against the Patriots, and it happened yet again Monday night.
Although not shown on ESPN, there were several photos from the press box of the object on the field, which occurred early in the third quarter. One of the referees kicked it out of the end zone before it was covered and removed by security.
