The Boston Marathon may not take place until Monday, but the city is already buzzing about another closely contested road race.
It’s no secret to WEEI listeners that Alex Reimer and Jermaine Wiggins have been feuding over the last several months over morning show casting couch supremacy. On Sunday, they were bickering about their respective athletic prowesses, which led Rob Bradford to propose settling their differences with a 40-yard dash down Landsdowne Street. Naturally, it produced some controversy.
“I did INADVERTENTLY start early, but I paused and gave Wiggy time to catch up. So actually, I am the winner,” he tweeted.
Riiigghhht.
