The NHL trade deadline is in the rearview mirror and, unless you believe that Kevan Miller is going to get healthy in time to help the Bruins this season, there are no reinforcements on the way.
What you see on the Bruins roster is what you get.
Do they have enough secondary scoring? Do they have enough toughness? Do they have enough depth?
Remember, as terrible as he looked this season, David Backes was a momentum-changer in the first-round series with Toronto last year. Do the Bruins have someone coach Bruce Cassidy can turn to if they run into a troubling opponent?
All these questions will be answered over the next two months. And the Bruins hope they’ll keep answering them for two months after that.
