When the quarterly report card came out, the Celtics were the second seed in the Eastern Conference and had just beaten the team right next to them in the standings, the Miami Heat. But now, at the midway point, Boston is fourth.
The C's certainly helped themselves with their win over the Lakers, but there weren't many players who saw their grade improve from the first quarter to midterms.
