The Bruins' COVID outbreak continues to worsen, with three more players and a staff member entering protocols Thursday morning.
The team announced that goalie Jeremy Swayman and forwards Trent Frederic and Anton Blidh have been placed in COVID-19 protocol, joining forwards Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and Craig Smith.
In a related move, the Bruins have also called up goalie Kyle Keyser and forward Jesper Froden from AHL Providence.
The Bruins are scheduled to play the Islanders in New York Thursday night before then traveling to Canada for games in Montreal and Ottawa on Saturday and Sunday. As of 11 a.m. Thursday, none of those games have been postponed.
