Bill Belichick shows his support for Bruins: 'Go B's'

Bill Belichick has always shown his support for Boston's other teams, so it should come as no surprise that he's cheering on the Bruins as they battle the Islanders in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

During his Friday morning Zoom press conference, Belichick appeared wearing a Bruins hat and opened with a message of support.

"Go B's," Belichick said. "We got a lot of big games coming up. Wish them well. Coach [Bruce] Cassidy's done a great job there, and they've got a lot of great players. Love their style of play. So just want to show our support."

During the 2019 Stanley Cup Final, Belichick served as the honorary fan banner captain at TD Garden before Game 2 against the Blues. He has attended other Bruins playoff games over the years as well. No word on whether he'll be making an appearance at the Garden sometime soon.

The Bruins currently have a 2-1 series lead over the Islanders after winning 2-1 in overtime Thursday night.
