The Bruins made a roster move, albeit a small one, on Friday afternoon.
The team announced it has re-signed forward Trent Frederic to a two-year deal with a $1.05 million annual cap hit.
Frederic, 23, played in 42 games with the Bruins last season, recording four goals and one assist for five points.
He was selected by the Bruins in the first-round of the 2016 NHL Draft.
Although not a big move, he will give the forwards some depth.
