The Bruins announced Monday afternoon that they have signed forward Curtis Hall to a three-year, entry-level that begins with the 2021-22 NHL season. The deal has an annual NHL cap hit of $925,000.
Hall is a 6-foot-4, 212-pound right-shot center who spent the last two years at Yale, where he was the team's leading scorer last season with 17 goals and 10 assists in 28 games.
The Bruins selected Hall in the fourth round (119th overall) in the 2018 draft, but he has risen as a prospect since then, with The Athletic's Corey Pronman recently ranking him as the team's No. 6 prospect.
Hall is currently with the Providence Bruins on a one-year AHL deal, but has played just one game so far while dealing with a lower-body injury. Since this new deal doesn't kick in until next season, it won't burn an entry-level year.
