The Bruins have surpassed everyone's early-season expectations and currently have the best record in the NHL at 14-2-0. Unsurprisingly, that has led to a lot more interest in the team.
NESN revealed on Wednesday that viewership for Bruins games is up 34% over last season. Bruins games have been a top-three program on local television for 85% of their games so far, and a top-five program for every game.
NESN also touts a 44% jump in viewership from women age 25-54 and a 47% jump in their streaming numbers.
If the Bruins continue like this, so will the ratings. After a mini-break in the schedule this week, the Bruins return to the ice Thursday night against the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden.
