In the latest sign that David Krejci isn't planning any sort of imminent return to Boston, the longtime Bruins center has officially sold his Charlestown home, with the closing reportedly taking place on Monday.
The 4,516-square-foot home at 42 Harvard St. went for a suspected Charlestown record -- and very fitting -- price: $4,046,000.

Boston.com cites broker George Sarkis in reporting that it is the highest sales price for a single-family home in Charlestown history. The brownstone includes five bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms, two parking spots and two private outdoor spaces, including a rooftop deck.
The $46,000 part of the selling price is fitting given that Krejci wore No. 46 throughout his 15 seasons with the Bruins.
Krejci chose to leave the Bruins this offseason to return home to the Czech Republic and play for hometown team HC Olomouc. His team is off to a 5-2 start and Krejci leads the Extraliga in goals (7) and points per game (1.43).
