A couple weeks ago, Bruins general manager Don Sweeney suggested that perhaps David Pastrnak could do some recruiting while playing with David Krejci at the IIHF World Championship in Finland.
Perhaps Pastrnak is actually doing that. Or maybe he and Krejci are just teasing Bruins fans.
Either way, Pastrnak's latest Instagram story will certainly be of interest to Bruins fans. In it, he asks Krejci directly, "Are you coming back to Boston next year?"
Check out Krejci's answer for yourself:
Well... that's not a no. Obviously it's not a yes, either. Does it tell us anything at all? Maybe not, but feel free to read into it as much or as little as you'd like.
Pastrnak, Krejci and Czechia won bronze at the World Championship, losing to Canada in the semifinals before beating the United States in the third-place game. Finland beat Canada for gold.
Pastrnak finished with seven goals and three assists in seven games, while Krejci had three goals and nine assists in 10 games.
