The Bruins will be without one of their key forwards for Monday night's Game 2 against the Islanders, as coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed after morning skate that Craig Smith is out.
Smith suffered a lower-body injury during the second period of Game 1 when he got hit by Cal Clutterbuck and did not return to the game.
Jake DeBrusk will move up to Smith's usual second-line right wing position next to David Krejci and Taylor Hall. Karson Kuhlman enters the lineup on the third line with Charlie Coyle and Nick Ritchie.
The rest of the Bruins' lineup is expected to remain the same, with Kevan Miller (upper body) still out on defense. Here is the Bruins' expected Game 2 lineup:

On the Islanders' side of things, coach Barry Trotz said right wing Oliver Wahlstrom (lower body) remains out for Game 2. He also elected to not reveal his starting goalie.
Rookie Ilya Sorokin, who was excellent in the first round, started Game 1 and gave up four goals on 39 shots. While he wasn't the reason the Islanders lost, he did give up some juicy rebounds, including two that David Pastrnak put in the back of the net.
Trotz could elect to turn to Semyon Varlamov, his veteran who was a Vezina Trophy candidate in the regular season but who lost his job to Sorokin due to a combination of a minor injury and one poor game in the first round.
While Trotz said it'll be the same skaters for New York in Game 2, it's possible he could juggle his lines a bit. If he doesn't, though, this would be the Islanders' lineup once again:
