The April 12 NHL trade deadline is a big one for Bruins general manager Don Sweeney.
There's the obvious angle of him needing to find a way to improve the struggling Bruins enough to make a deep playoff run.
But what if he isn't able to do that? It would certainly raise questions about the team's future and whether its "Cup window" is closed. Would it also put Sweeney's own future in question? Would he get a chance to lead the rebuild (or more generously, retool), or would Bruins management decide he's not the right guy for it?
