Taylor Hall has been pretty clear about liking Boston and wanting to be a Bruin, and that didn't change during his end-of-season press conference Friday morning.

Hall, who is set to be an unrestricted free agent, was asked if he thinks there's a match with the Bruins.

"Nothing’s changed since the last time I talked about this. But yeah, I see a fit, and hopefully they feel the same," Hall said. "We’ll let the dust settle on everything this year. I’m sure they have a lot of stuff going on and some other guys that have been here longer than me that they have to worry about. We’ll figure that out, but hopefully we can make something work. That’s obviously my goal, and hopefully we can make that happen."

Hall was then asked about the idea of taking a little less than what he might get on the open market, something that guys like Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak have done in recent years.

"I don’t even know what my value is at this point," Hall said. "I feel like I had two different seasons. But yeah, I’m not looking to absolutely maximize my value at this point in my career. I’ve been fortunate enough to make some good money in this league and at this point it’s about more of a fit for me than maybe money or a long-term thing. I just want to find a home for the next few years here. We’ll see what happens."

After putting up just two goals and 17 assists in 37 games with Buffalo to start this season, Hall had eight goals and six assists in 16 regular-season games with the Bruins. He had three goals and two assists in 11 playoff games, with just two points in six games against the Islanders.

Hall said he plans to stick around Boston for at least a couple more weeks, noting that not much is open back home in Canada anyways. He said he and his girlfriend "love the area."
