Bruins fans would have preferred to see the Bruins Twitter account being the one posting some sort of video announcing a new deal for David Krejci.
Instead, they'll have to settle for this perfectly weird welcome home video from Krejci's new team, HC Olomouc.
A few days after announcing he was leaving the Bruins to play in his native Czech Republic, Krejci has now officially signed his next contract. Olomouc was Krejci's first junior team way back in 2000-01 and is located about 11 miles from his hometown of Sternberk.
The team's video announcing the signing plays off Krejci's last name, which means "tailor" in Czech. Watch it below, conveniently complete with English subtitles:
