David Krejci has been hotter than hot recently, so why not copy his routine and see if it rubs off?
That may have been David Pastrnak's thinking Saturday afternoon, as the Bruins winger hilariously copied his Czech countryman's warmup routine prior to Boston's game against the Buffalo Sabres.
The routine continued to work for Krejci, as he set up Craig Smith for the opening goal Saturday just 1:21 into the game. Krejci now has 12 points (6 goals, 6 assists) in 11 games since the trade deadline and the addition of Taylor Hall, who picked up the second assist on Smith's goal.
Pastrnak, meanwhile, has also been producing more recently, putting up 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists) in his last nine games going into Saturday.
