The Phoenix Suns weren’t the only ones the Dallas Mavericks put to bed early on Sunday night.

Alex Rodriguez was courtside for Game 7 between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns with his new girlfriend, Kathryne Padgett, but A-Rod seemed to have checked out of the game rather early.

With the Mavs blowing out the Suns, winning the game 123-90, the former Yankees star appeared to nod off during the game as cameras showed him with his eyes closed and head tilted to the side.

A-Rod has a busy schedule these days and is constantly flying between Miami, New York and wherever else he wants to be (in this case, Phoenix) so he might have hit a wall or just lost interest after the whooping the Mavs put on.

Perhaps A-Rod should have opted for Game 7 in New York, where the Rangers won a thrilling comeback, overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins to advance in the NHL Playoffs.

There is no chance he would have fell asleep in that atmosphere at Madison Square Garden.
