The Celtics' home game Sunday against the Heat was postponed for health and safety protocols and now Tuesday's game at Chicago is being postponed for the same reason.
The NBA announced the postponement Monday afternoon, which was likely due to the Celtics not having the league minimum of eight players able to play.
Jayson Tatum reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 after Friday's game and because of contact tracing several players are now unavailable. The Celtics are scheduled to have home games Wednesday and Friday, which remain on as of now.
The league will be meeting with the NBPA today about modifying the league's Health and Safety Protocols with three games being postponed this week already.
