Maybe we're dealing in semantics, but one thing we know for sure: Brad Stevens is remaining the coach of the Boston Celtics for a while.
Last week, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Indiana University was prepared to offer Stevens seven years and $70 million to become its next men's basketball coach.
Well, Stevens was asked about the report prior to Monday night's game against the Bulls. His answer? No offer was made, and it wouldn't have mattered if one had been.
