The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m., but that is not the last opportunity for teams to add impact players to their roster.

After the deadline will come the buyout market, and according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics could go after one of the biggest names expected to be on it.

Wojnarowski said Wednesday on the "Woj & Lowe" trade deadline show that Boston will be a "team to watch" for Cavaliers center Andre Drummond if he's bought out by Cleveland.

The Cavs have reportedly been trying to trade Drummond, but his $28.75 million expiring contract has been a turn-off, making it more likely he ends up as a buyout.

Drummond is averaging 17.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game in 25 games this season. He has led the league in rebounding in four of the previous five seasons.

The Celtics already have a bit of a logjam in their frontcourt with Robert Williams, Daniel Theis and Tristan Thompson, so it's possible the Celtics' interest in Drummond would be contingent on moving one of those three in another deal before the deadline.

It's also worth noting that Wojnarowski's ESPN colleague Brian Windhorst reported on Tuesday that the Lakers are believed to be the front-runner to sign Drummond if he's bought out.
