The Celtics found their veteran guard in Jeff Teague. But they reportedly had interest in another name that is very familiar to C's fans.

According to HoopsHype.com, the Celtics showed interest in bringing back Avery Bradley. The almost-30-year-old ended up inking a two-year, $11.6 million deal with the Heat.

According to the report, the Celtics and Heat weren't alone in their pursuit of Bradley, with the Lakers, Warriors and Hornets also showing interest.

Since leaving the Celtics after the 2016-17 season, Bradley played for four teams (Pistons, Clippers, Grizzlies, Lakers) before jumping to Miami.

Last season with the Lakers, Bradley played in 49 games while averaging 8.6 points. He didn't participate in Los Angeles' postseason run, choosing to opt-out of the season prior to the NBA's return to action in late July.

Bradley spent his first seven seasons with the Celtics, serving as their first-round draft pick (19th overall) in the 2010 NBA Draft.
