While we wait to see what the Gordon Hayward-to-the-Hornets deal officially looks like, Charlotte took a step toward making room for their new centerpiece.
This comes just days after a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that the Celtics and Hornets were attempting to work out a sign-and-trade, ultimately landing Hayward with his four-year, $120 million deal.
