Thanks to their families, they got an unexpected boost.
The team released a video to the players showing various family members giving encouraging messages to the C’s, offering support and words of wisdom heading into Boston's showdown with the Raptors.
Some included in the video were Jaylen Brown’s sister, mother and grandfather, the moms of Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker, and Daniel Theis’ wife and two small children.
