Jaylen Brown makes crazy 3-point shot on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' with no cast on his injured wrist

It looks like Jaylen Brown is recovering from his season-ending left wrist injury just fine.

The fledging All-Star tried his hand Thursday at the "Hell Hoop" contest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and wasn't wearing a cast or brace on his aforementioned wrist, which he suffered in a collision with Jayson Tatum against the Trail Blazers May 2.

The competition consisted of Brown trying to make a three-point shot with a moving hoop and inflatable mascots trying to distract him (in other words, what Ben Simmons probably sees at the free-throw line). While he missed his first one, he nailed the second, and raised $25,000 for his charity, The 7uice Foundation.

Obviously, the "Hell Hoop" challenge isn't a reliable barometer for how Brown will perform once training camp opens up in the fall. But it was encouraging to see him out there without any sign of his injury.

Brown, 24, averaged 24.7 points per game last year to go along with six rebounds. He promised to be a vital piece to the Celtics for years to come, provided he isn't traded this offseason.

The Celtics have been loosely linked to Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard, both of whom would probably command a package centering around Brown.
